Healing Connections – Free Monthly In-Person Support for Kids Living with Loss
Give your child a gentle path forward after loss with Healing Connections, a no-cost, once-a-month program held at the Downtown CAAT Center (5:00 p.m.). Through hands-on creative activities, group games, and peer connection, children learn healthy ways to express hard emotions—without the pressure of talking one-on-one with a professional.
Whether your family is adjusting to the death of a loved one, a separation, or another life change, our caring facilitators create a welcoming space where kids can explore feelings, build resilience, and realize they’re not alone. It’s an ideal option for children who aren’t yet comfortable sharing directly with counselors but still need guidance and community support.

JHC4Kids! In-Person Support for Children Navigating Loss
JHC4Kids is a free, once-a-month program that helps children turn pain into possibility after any kind of loss—whether that’s the passing of a loved one, a family separation, or another big life change. Each upbeat, one-hour session blends art, play, storytelling, and movement to give kids age-appropriate tools for understanding feelings, building resilience, and finding hope alongside peers who “get it.”
Led by caring facilitators in a safe, welcoming space, every meeting sends children home with new coping skills—and a little more lightness in their hearts.
